About the Competition

    

The Detroit Inspirational Music Competition was created to honor individuals or groups that contribute to the positive image of Detroit and the Southeast Michigan Region.

The finalist will be aired on WXYZ's Channel 7 where they will compete for cash prizes and an opportunity to be seen by millions of viewers.

 
   
   
Auditions will be held on July 20th and 21st at the Detroit School of Arts. The DMIC judges will vote on the top 24 contestants that give the most inspirational performance. Registration will begin on June 12th and end on July 19th.
